55th Meeting of the Portuguese Society of Pharmacology

The Department of Biomedicine – Pharmacology and Therapeutics Unit of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto will host the 55th Meeting of the Portuguese Society of Pharmacology, 43rd Meeting of Clinical Pharmacology and 24th Meeting of Toxicology from 5 to 7 February 2025.
The meeting will take place at the FMUP Medical Research Center (CIM-FMUP), located at Rua Dr. Plácido da Costa, in Porto and will start at 2:00 pm on February 5th. The format is the usual SPF, oral communications of 10′ of presentation of the work followed by 5′ of discussion with two rooms simultaneously.
This format is a great opportunity for young researchers to discuss their work, in a pedagogical way, with their peers, contributing to their training as Pharmacologists.
The deadline for abstract submission is December 16, 2024 and for registration for the meeting is January 13, 2025.

Abstracts will be evaluated by the SPF Scientific Committee and only those that comply with the recommendations will be accepted.
The title of the abstracts cannot be more than 150 characters (excluding spaces) and the abstract 3000 characters (excluding spaces) and must be organized with Objective/Methods/Results/Conclusions, optionally it can contain information about references and funding. Abstracts sent after the deadline are not accepted. The communication of acceptance of abstracts will be made on January 6, 2025.
