How Can Your National Member Society Participate

Opportunities for your society to participate include:

1. International Student Poster Competition on the theme, ‘Race, Ethnic and Socioeconomic Influences on Clinical Pharmacology’.

There are three categories of poster entries:

  • General posters: open to all medical, pharmacy or pharmacology pre-graduate students.
  • Research posters: open to all medical, pharmacy or pharmacology pre- and post-graduate students.
  • International collaborative posters: open to all medical, pharmacy or pharmacology pre- and post-graduate students for collaborations between students who are each affiliated with different member societies.

Please disseminate the call for posters through your membership several times between now and March 2026 to capture a wide range of student availability.  Please help link students with those of international colleagues for the International Collaborative Poster category. A form to facilitate international student contacts will soon be available on the IUPHAR WSMD 2026 website.

Please organise judging for your society’s winner in each category. Please send the nominated winners from your society to the IUPHAR by April 6th 2026 using this link.

All posters received will be judged for originality, relevance, message, universality by the IUPHAR Executive Committee and members of the IUPHAR Medical and Clinical Pharmacology Committee, who will nominate the overall winners for each category.

Winners will be invited to present at the World Smart Medication Day webinar on May 7, 2026. Six prizes will be awarded by IUPHAR, 2 prizes in each category. Poster competition coming soon.
